Master
by Toni Sorenson How does one write the story of God? How does the author
create conversation or dialogue or details where none are provided in
scripture, and yet do so with dignity and propriety and even reverence?
Master is a warm and inviting novel about our Lord and Redeemer, a work
that engages admirably these challenges. All true believers desire to
better understand the Christ and have a greater sense of closeness to
Him. Thus any and every effort to bring the Story of stories in the four
Gospels closer to home and make Jesus and His disciples more tangible,
more real, is to be applauded. This book is an uplifting experience, one
which I highly recommend. If you want to walk today where Jesus walked, read this
book. What a moving and quenching experience to read this story of our beloved
Savior’s life! I have always known that He lives; now the words
of this book, written by gifted and talented novelist Toni Sorenson, have
brought to life His experiences and circumstances during mortality. The
words are as inspiring and uplifting as if you were there, walking with
the Lord and drinking from the well of living water. You will be changed
as you see the life of our Savior portrayed in this magnificent story
. . . reading it made me want to be better. Master tells the story of the life of Christ in a way it
has never been told before, bringing every scripture to life and drawing
the reader back in time with power and purpose.
